Richmond Pharmacology is an innovative, dynamic and adaptive Contract Research Organisation (CRO) based in London Bridge, conducting clinical research on behalf of clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
We have an opportunity for a curious GMC registered doctor to gain first-hand experience in clinical research within the context of a world-renowned research organisation working with a varied group of international biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.
Our doctors work across a range of clinical trials involving both healthy and patient volunteers. The team of doctors contribute to original research, developing a skill set that includes protocol development and data analysis and reporting. Through this multi-faceted role and the training provided, our doctors learn the core skills required to manage a clinical trial from the point where a volunteer arrives for screening through to the point where the data gathered is analysed and interpreted.
As a Research Physician you will join a close knit team, headed by our Medical Director who is a Fellow both of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
Specific clinical training will be provided from the outset of your employment and ongoing training is offered throughout your time at Richmond Pharmacology. You will be based in our central London, state-of-the-art facility, at a clinical site that has been synonymous with cutting edge clinical research for over 30 years. In the last few years our facility has undergone a £5 million redevelopment ensuring the facility matches the excellence of our teams.
Experience:
We are looking for a doctor with good clinical skills and the capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge and judgement. You will have gained some experience (ideally 12 months) post foundation training and are likely to be considering options for progressing on to specialty training. Once you have completed a year with us, we hope that you will be seriously considering Specialty Training in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
In return, we offer a competitive remuneration package, including matching pension contributions (5%), life assurance (3x salary), private single medical and dental insurance and a generous holiday allowance (25 days).
Application:
Please follow this link and register your interest by completing the form. Please note that during the selection process, we will ask for copies of your most recent appraisals, as well as references from two medical professionals who have supervised you within the last 2 years.
Due to the high volume of applications, we’re unable to update everyone individually. If you have not heard from us within 10 working days, your application has been unsuccessful.
We have a great group of people that make up our team.
